Nothing says the holidays more than the lighting of a Christmas tree. Head on over to the Sherman Oaks Galleria for the annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony. On Wednesday December 2nd at 7:00 PM The Galleria will be lighting their 30 foot tree. Join Santa as he lights the tree, enjoy Holiday treats and take free photos with Santa and listen to classic Holiday songs.
On December 7th the Sherman Oaks Galleria will have a Menorah Lighting Ceremony at 6:00 PM. The night will feature songs, dances and Hanukkah treats.
The Grove in LA has an entire season of fun. Get your picture taken with Santa or bring your pet for a photo with Saint Nicholas. Stand in awe at the 100 foot tall Christmas tree with more than 15,000 lights and 10,000 ornaments or every night through Christmas walk The Grove while magical snowflakes float above. The Grove also has holiday musical performances, check the schedule out at The Grove.
Since 1999 Sherman Oaks resident Mike Ziemkowski has been treating the residents of Sherman Oaks to a Holiday Spectacular of Lights and Music. Each year it gets bigger and better with computer controlled lights, music and characters to delight the young and young at heart. Check out their facebook page for more info.
Lights on Display starts on Friday, November 27, 2015 and runs until January 1, 2016 from 5:30 pm to 10:00 pm and from 5:00 pm until midnight on Christmas Eve/Day and New Year’s Eve.
