\nEach year community and professional repertoire companies in and around Los Angeles put on those holiday classics, you know The Nutcracker, A Christmas Carol and A Miracle on 34^{th<\/sup> Street and to many it isn’t the holidays until they take in these performances. We agree that these are great, but why not shake things up a bit this holiday season.<\/p>\n}

We have gathered a list of performances that are sure to delight this year.<\/p>\n

The Charles Stewart Howard Playhouse in Woodland Hills will be celebrating the holidays with a Hard Candy Christmas<\/strong>; a series of short plays and music celebrating the ups and downs of the season. This performance is sure to delight and runs on December 12^{th<\/sup> and 13^{th<\/sup> at 7:00 pm at Harter Hall in Woodland Hills.<\/p>\n}}

In neighboring Sherman Oaks The Whitefire Theater puts on a romping holiday comedy; Santasia<\/strong>. This fun musical includes singing, dancing and cross-dressing.<\/p>\n
