Sherman Oaks Halloween: Let’s Decorate Your Apartment

  |     |   Uncategorized

Let’s decorate your apartment for Halloween without having to spend an absorbent amount of money. Decorating can be fun, easy, and inexpensive if you put your DIY gloves on and do a few things yourself. Here are three spooky ideas to try with your Halloween decorations this year. Have scary time!

Animals experiments: purchase a few fake animals like plastic spiders and bats and put them in mason jars. Next fill the jars up with water and use yellow and greenish food coloring to make your jars look like animal experiments. The decoration is quite spooky and might scare a guest or two. Just be careful if you have really young kids, you don't want to traumatize them.

Mini bat pumpkins: purchase a few small pumpkins and try turning them into mini bats. The decoration is cute, but still fits into the Halloween vibe. Start by spray painting your pumpkins black and then adding construction paper batwings and a face.

Mummy Door: what’s cooler than a scary door? Wrap some gauze around your door (using actual tissue paper will rip) like a mummy and then add some googly eyes. You can even use sharp teeth to add to the spookiness.
