On Saturday the LAFD will be holding a Chili Cook-Off for stroke awareness. The event is free and will be held at LAFD #83 4960 Balboa Boulevard in Encino from 10am to 2pm.  Sample free chili tastings, face painting, balloon art, music, silent auction, and fire and police apparatus on display!  This family friendly event is the perfect way to spend a sunny Saturday and benefits a great cause.

Head to Van Nuys on Sunday, May 1, 2016 for the LA VegFest for this earth-friendly event! Enjoy food, fun and inspirational speakers who address environmental, humanitarian and health topics.  The Festival will include a vegan international food court, a beer and wine garden, live music and over 150 vendors.

The Festival will be held this Sunday, May 1, 2016 from 10:30am to 6:30pm at Woodley Park, 6350 Woodley Boulevard, Lake Balboa, CA and is FREE!  Sorry, no pets!

Catch a Dodger's Game!  This weekend Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (April 29 – May 1, 2016), the LA Dodgers will be playing the San Diego Padres. There are still tickets available.
