If you are looking for a unique way to celebrate summer this year, we would like to suggest that you take an hour's ride from your Sherman Oaks apartment to take in the Pageant of the Masters and Saw Dust Festival in Laguna Beach.

The Pageant of the Masters is an annual celebration where life imitates art. Real people dressed in period clothing recreate classic masterpieces.  Accompanied by an orchestra and narrator, these famous works literally come to life.  The Pageant runs nightly from July 7th through August 31st and draws large crowds and many nights sell out.

Each summer over 200 artists gather in Laguna Beach for the annual Saw Dust Art Festival.  There are demonstrations, classes and fine art and craft for sale. Mediums include hand-blown glass, paintings, jewelry, ceramics, clothing sculptures, photograph and surf art.
